Beware Picture "Spam" in Facebook




WASHINGTON, KOMPAS.com - states that the social network Facebook has come under attack through the deployment of image spam that appears at the feeder (feed) of news.

Facebook, which has more than 800 million members, stating that some users are not aware of social networks have been fooled by the sharing of content. "Recently, we havecoordinated spam attacks that exploit browser vulnerabilities," called up via e-mail toAFP.

"Our effort is to drastically limit the damage caused by this attack. Now we are undergoing a process of inquiry to identify those responsible," said Facebook.

In a statement, Facebook confirmed it had built a mechanism to immediately shut down,both pages are dangerous and that account was trying to use the spam.

Company headquartered in Palo Alto, California, it was confirmed that the protection ofusers from spam and malicious content attack is their main priority. Facebook alsopromised to limit the movement and remove material that violates the terms they set.

Facebook did not say how many members are consumed by spam. Just mentioned,there are hundreds of users complained via Twitter over the pictures, which he classified as pornography and violence.
